I am a Comox Valley artist painting my world in acrylic and mixed media. Art became my passion and my solace during the home stretch of medical practice after three decades as a Vancouver family doctor. COVID and a health crisis intensified my dive toward abstraction. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

My work often reflects my inner world, at other times I am inspired by what I see around me. Colour\/texture\/shape make up my language; layering paint and collage, using tools to add\/subtract, scraping away what\u2019s not needed until I find <\/span><\/span>a<\/span><\/span> balance. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

Art can often reflect the world that surround us; layered in complexity, it is often interpreted with a personal filter.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

I am excited to have the viewer get drawn in to the mystery that I present to them, coming up for a closer look.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

I believe people see what they need to see, and hope that my art enriches your experience.<\/span><\/span><\/p>
